Sandals Royal Bahamian Resort & Spa: This resort on Cable Beach offers a variety of restaurants to suit every taste, from elegant gourmet dining to casual Caribbean fare. At this exclusive all-inclusive resort, day and evening passes are required for non-guests to access the property. Reservations are recommended at some restaurants and required in others. Resort casual calls for dress shorts or jeans, swimwear must be covered, no bare feet. Resort evening attire means dress pants for men, shirts with sleeves and collar, dress shoes. • Baccarat offers fine dining in sophisticated surroundings overlooking the pool. Breakfast includes healthy items served à la carte, 8-11am. Dinner menu features classic gourmet French cuisine, 6-10pm. Resort evening attire for dinner. Reservations required.
• Bella Napoli Pizzeria serves made-to-order brick-oven pizzas on a terrace overlooking the sea and Sandals Cay. Choose from savoury and dessert pizzas. 11am-5pm.
• Café Goombay, offshore on Sandals Cay, has sandwiches, hamburgers, wraps and other light snacks for lunch, 11am-4:30pm. At night, enjoy Bahamian seafood Sun, Tues and Thurs. Two seatings 6:30 and 8:30pm. Boat transfers 6:15 and 8:15pm. Weather permitting. Resort casual attire.
• The Cricketer’s Pub features traditional British fare without the traditional British weather. Continental breakfast 3am-7:30am, espresso bar 7:30am-3pm. English pub specialties 5pm-3am. Resort casual attire.
• The Crystal Room features elegant international à la carte dining in its opulent Versace-inspired dining room, complete with a beautiful Baccarat chandelier. Open six days 6-10pm (closed Sat). Crystal Bar open 5:30-10:30pm. Resort evening attire.
• Gordon’s on the Pier offers fine à la carte dining exclusively for Sandals’ one-bedroom suite guests (available for other guests for an additional charge). Mon-Sat 6:30-9:30pm. Resort evening attire, dress shorts permitted. Reservations booked through personal butler.
• At Kimono’s, Teppanyaki-style Asian cuisine is prepared at your table, 6-9:30pm. Closed Tues. Resort evening attire.
• Ristorante Casanova features buffet-style lunch entrées cooked to order and a create-your-own pasta station, 12:30-3pm (seasonal). Resort casual attire for lunch. For dinner, savour à la carte northern Italian specialities and casual Caribbean dishes in the colourful dining room, 6-10pm. Closed Mon. Resort casual attire.
• The beachside Royal Café offers a selection of delicious sandwiches, grilled specialities and salads, 11am-5pm.
• Spices offers delectable buffet-style dining throughout the day. Breakfast 7:30-10am and lunch 12:30-2:30pm daily. Dinner buffet includes an international selection of entrées and other favourites, 6:30-9:30pm Sat nights only. Resort casual attire.
• Enjoy swim-up bar service at Sundowner Swim Up Bar and Sunset Swim Up Bar, 10:30am-6pm, and at Goombay Swim Up Bar, 11am-4:30pm. Beach Bar open 10am-1am.
• Enjoy live piano music at Manor Bar and Piano Lounge 5pm-1am.
• Theme nights including magic shows, movie night, lover’s night, international buffet and Goombay Festival nights are also held throughout the week. Nightly entertainment at the impressive Royal Lounge offers guests live performances by local bands and entertainers. Showtime is 10pm nightly.
